That's the end of Minnie and Morgana!

I liked the visual of Morgana's "outer shell" exploding and revealing a little gummy center. It almost looks like a little candy inside. In the very earliest drafts of this fight scene, Minnie would be struck by the blade and reveal that Morgana's Unique Ability was that it had a "second life" in a sense where she was the only Conjurer who could be struck and come back. Morgana would lose the "outer shell" and be able to fight again with Minnie. 

This was a fun idea but I think it complicated the rules of the Competition too much and made the fight scene too long. So, in the end, Minnie and Harper both are Conjurers without Unique Ability and Morgana's crunchy outer shell is just a dynamic visual to show that it explodes when defeated. Sorry, Morgana.

We'll get to see some Conjurers with pretty fun Unique Abilities next chapter though! :-)
